Cow, In India this is not an animal, rather it is more than an emotion to the fellow Hindus. Here Cow is signified as Mother due to obvious reasons. Here we can cut eat other animals as much as we can, and when it comes to Cows ours humanity triggers up. I am not at all against Non-Vegetarians or Non-Veg Food. It is just that, we people have taken this granted, that if we are following a spiritual path then it is okay to do something inhuman and still think that we are balancing everything.
Say for an example, In Hindu culture Veg food are considered righteous. However as the time passed people adapted western culture and also welcomed other religion and started participating in other Cultural activities and visa-versa. But as a matter of fact we also divided some specific animals in terms of food (Goat) and some to worship(Cow).
The thing I don't understand here is that, just because our spiritual God has shown his affection towards Cows, we have considered it as sacred. Which is completely fine. But what about other living creatures, are they not breathing, are they not qualified enough to get our love and affection?
Why are we discriminating them like this? What have they done to us?
Just because in our ancient literature Cow has been considered as sacred animal so that does not mean, we can start exploiting other living beings and worship Cow as Mother. Isn't that, what is happening in today's time?
Let me tell you one brutal truth, I have been noticing it since long. This sacred- sacred game is going on since the Satya yuga. When there was a divine Cow named "Kamdhunu" who gave good health, wealth and good fortune whoever worshiped her. Which was obvious as that was Satya Yuga and back then all the living creatures are considered to be supernatural beings. However back then people in Satya Yuga have never forcefully tried to get the milk from the Cow. If you look into the past and the ancient literature you will find that people back then would go to the divine Kamghenu Cow and worship the cow and put forward their wishes and then then Cow fulfills it.
Eventually as the days passed, Yuga passed and Kali Yuga started, we humans have totally changed the meaning as per our comfort and understanding. Now a days we are considering Cow as "Mother" only because it is somewhere depicted in the ancient literature and also for the milk that we get from the cow. Sorry let me rephrase it as " the milk that we "TAKE" from the cow."
Now some of you might be thinking Give or Take, How does it matter? Right?
There is a big difference between "Cow giving milk" and "We taking milk from Cow".

I have noticed, people take away most of the milk from the cow, who made this milk for its own Calf, so that it could feed on it. As calf is the one who has the primary authority on the Cow's milk and we come secondary. But our selfish human behavior turned it around without thinking about the Calf.
Now a days with the advancement of science and technology we are exploiting the Cow more brutally for its milk, whom we pretend as divine mother.
I just don't understand why these people are doing such inhuman stuffs, hiding behind the mask of spirituality and Humanity.?
"What is wrong in considering Cow same as other animals and continue exploiting them as we are doing now, at least this way we will be honest to ourselves."
OR
"start treating all living beings around us as living beings and show our gratitude and respect to them for sharing this earth and nature with us."
If you are still thinking this is about Cow, then let me clear this.
This is about all the inhuman and selfish behaviors that we have adapted by exploiting the nature and the living beings around us.
Somewhere we name it as food and exploit it and somewhere we entitle it as Mother or God and exploit it. But the exploiting business is ON and continuous and never ending here.
Eventually we have now shamelessly doing all the sadistic things to fulfill our selfish desires simply by hiding behind the mask of religion and God.
I would also like to know what do you think about this?, If you do not agree, you are welcome to keep you point here on the comment box, which might show us a new direction of thinking.
